A brand new version of the hugely popular racing game SuperTuxKart has zipped past the release line to land on download servers.
This post, SuperTuxKart 0.9.2 Released With New Tracks, Single-Player Modes, was written by Joey-Elijah Sneddon and first appeared on OMG! Ubuntu!.
SuperTuxKart developers have demoed support for Nintendo’s WiiMote.
In a video posted on YouTube, native support for the Wiimote is shown, both connecting to and then controlling the race on screen.
Want it? You’ll need to wait. WiiMote support is expected to land in the next update to SuperTuxKart, version 0.8.1.. No release date yet available.
In other Super Tux Kart news, the project was recently crowned Sourceforge’s Project of the month, and revealed work on two new game modes, Soccer and Easter Egg Hunt, will be included in future releases.
